5 Ingredient Lime Pie

This lime dessert is an easy, low effort pie that tastes amazing. It's a perfect balance of sweet and tart and a definite crowd pleaser. You can easily make this the day before you need it. Feel free to decorate with whipped cream, lime slices or lime zest. You can also make these individual lime pies, just cut the baking time by about half.

2 cups graham cracker crumbs (168 grams)
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 14-ounce cans sweetened condensed milk
3 large egg yolks
2/3 cup fresh lime juice
lime zest, lime slices and whipped cream, to decorate (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350F. in a 9" pie form, combine the graham cracker crumbs and butter. Mix them to evenly distribute the butter, then press the mixture into the base of the form and up the sides. Bake for 10 minutes.

Allow crust to cool completely before the next step, approximately 30 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks and lime juice. Mix until smooth and even. Pour this filling in to the baked crust.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still jiggly.

Allow pie to cool for 1 hour, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight. Once ready to serve, decorate as you wish.
